The Rep is committed to providing a safe haven in which young artists and audiences can come together to create and celebrate the experience of performing arts. Our programs are designed to encourage each participant's expressive abilities in an atmosphere that is nurturing, challenging and educational. Our commitment to small classes ensure individual attention to each student's needs.

The two components of our programs are process and the product. Process oriented programs include classes, day camps and overnight camps. These programs promote a student's theatrical and artistic abilities while teaching important life skills including confidence, creativity and teamwork. The Rep's Youth Productions are produced by and for youth. Through rehearsals and performance, developing performers and theatre artists tune acting skills and learn all aspects of producing a show.

Creative Critters encourages pre-school and kindergarten-aged youngsters to explore their imaginations using masks, storytelling, costume, music, movement, puppets, group singing and percussion instruments. Focusing on fundamental acting skills, this class will lead young people through developing basic acting skills through script reading, theatre games, character development, improvisation, pantomime, ensemble work and more.

Providing training for the developing young actor in a safe, creative environment,  this class provides opportunities to expand and explore the actor's “tool kit.”. Art of the Actor gives the beginner confidence and the veteran performer an opportunity to fine tune acting skills. This class uses improvisation, theatre games, script reading, characterization, focus, ensemble work and much more.

Nurturing musical theatre performers of all levels, abilities and experiences, this class provides opportunities for the performer to focus on acting, singing and dance. Learn and strengthen fundamental techniques while rehearsing songs (and scenes) from great American musicals.

Class provides both rehearsal and performance opportunities for the serious and developing actor. Focus on character & text analysis, improvisation and activities that will exercise the actor’s voice, body & imagination. This group will study, rehearse and perform!

Beginning with acting fundamentals, this class provides opportunities for both the working and non-working actor to develop and hone active listening, acting truthfully in the moment, focus, improvisation and playable actions. This class provides an acting "technique workout" using Meisner techniques, improvisation, and scene work that may require additional out of class time "homework." This class is designed for a wide variety of skill levels. Class size is limited.

($15.00 registration fee is non-refundable. Full payment is due on the first day of class and becomes non-refundable after the first week of class.  6 student minimum per class.)
