PARENT VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP SHEET
It takes many hands to put on a musical production and we could sure use
your help. Please look over the categories below and let me know if
there is any area you would be willing to help out with. Just send an
email to mzavez@sau21.org
Thanks so much.
1. Costumes: We need adults to organize the costumes and make
sure all cast members have everything they need. This can be done during
a few rehearsal times. If you can sew and would be willing to help with
alterations and additions that’d be wonderful
2. Performance Costumes: We need an adult to be willing to stay
backstage with the cast during the dress rehearsal and performances to
supervise and help get kids ready to go on stage. This is always the
toughest slot to fill because you are backstage during one of the shows,
but if at least 4 parents sign up it is possible to “switch off” during
the Friday and Saturday shows and even choose act one or act two on a
certain night.

3. Concession crew: One or two people are needed to organize and
purchase food for the concession table in the lobby at WHS. Additional
volunteers are needed to help set up, sell food at, and take down the
tables. Food is sold before the show and at intermission.
4. Props: Seek out props on the prop list and make sure all the
props get to Winnacunnet and get returned to the proper places/people.
5. Decorating Committee: Decorate the lobby at WHS for the show.
This year’s theme will be “Hollywood”.
6. Tickets: Sell tickets before the show.
7. Set Building/Painting: Help out with construction and painting
of the set. This can be done after school on the stage while we rehearse
in the gym and on some weekends in March. We also need people to help
with the set construction at WHS the week before production.
8. Set transportation: If you would be willing to reserve a uhaul
and drive it from NHS to WHS on Monday, March 25th at 4:00pm That would
be fantastic!
9. Hair/Make-up: help the cast look beautiful prior to
performances on 4/6 and 4/7 from about 5:30 - 6:45
10. Transporting Cast Members to WHS during production Week: during
production week we need to get the kids to WHS after school.
11. Cast Party: Organizing the cast party. The cast party can be
right after the show in the WHS cafeteria or at any other time you
choose.
12.Taking down the set: We need parents with screw guns and trucks
or big trunks to take apart the set at WHS the last night of the show
and bring it back to NHS.
